Well the good news of the day is that my work will be shown at JK Gallery in Culver City! The gallery is part of the gallery strip along La Cienega, so its easy to find and there's lots of other things to see nearby. The show opens on November 1 with a reception that evening from 6PM to 8PM. My work will be shown along with the work of another LA based artist Diane Cockerill, so I will be sharing a lot about the process and exhibition in upcoming blogs.

A Really Big Announcement
Well the good news of the day is that my work will be shown at JK Gallery in Culver City! - As human beings, I believe our identity is composed of a layering of stories, those we retell about ourselves and those we overtime ascribe importance and value to. This series of work is about this layering of stories and meaning, as well as the information, physical sensations, and physical mechanisms that make one human and our understanding of this. The title “shade” was chosen in reference to the nuances of this work, its physical form, its creation and of this idea.
