2009!

Wow, its 2009! Change and hope, those are the buzz words right. So with that in mind, I thought I would begin my presence on here for this year with an image of what I have been working on and with a quote.
"Dum spiro, spero", that's Latin for while I breathe, I hope. Fairly profound, no?

Jennifer D Anderson - Shades

    As human beings, I believe our identity is composed of a layering of stories, those we retell about ourselves and those we overtime ascribe importance and value to. This series of work is about this layering of stories and meaning, as well as the information, physical sensations, and physical mechanisms that make one human and our understanding of this. The title “shade” was chosen in reference to the nuances of this work, its physical form, its creation and of this idea.
