My work will be including in a three person exhibition at Dayton Visual Arts Center opening a week from today. The title Almost Reality poetically embraces the concept of truth, mistruth and the visual image.

- As human beings, I believe our identity is composed of a layering of stories, those we retell about ourselves and those we overtime ascribe importance and value to. This series of work is about this layering of stories and meaning, as well as the information, physical sensations, and physical mechanisms that make one human and our understanding of this. The title “shade” was chosen in reference to the nuances of this work, its physical form, its creation and of this idea.
